Discover Painting with Ilker Cinarel
Spend your days developing your skills at St Ives School of Painting, located just a few minutes’ walk away in the historic Porthmeor Studios.
Established in 1938, the school provides quality, contemporary art tuition from the unique location above Porthmeor beach. With a team of over 30 contemporary artists and with more than 100 courses to choose from, there is something for everyone.
As part of the competition prize, join a small group for a 3-day course, led by artist Ilker Cinarel. ‘Discover Painting’ (as seen recently in The Guardian!) is a fast track into painting from the heart and follows Jackson Pollock’s declaration that “painting is self-discovery.” Guided by Ilker, experiment with acrylic paint using a variety of tools and expressive approaches. Find out more about the course here.
