Course details
In our studio overlooking the sea, get inspired playing with colour with artist Victoria Gillow.
Inspired by Victoria’s approach to working around our Cornish Coast and capturing the effects of light and colour, play with colour yourself and explore layering, opaqueness and transparency, revealing and veiling. Enjoy slowing down while Victoria helps you to work intuitively to build up images.
Victoria is a Cornish artist whose work is deeply connected with the her heritage, the landscape and Coast where she works en plein air and also has a studio in Falmouth. She brings a wealth of experience from working as an artist, teacher and in Community arts and wellbeing. She has also worked in hospitals, charities, schools, for the BBC, art galleries and museum services.
For children aged 7-10, this is a Kids Art Club like no other, where children get to work on easels and use the same high quality art materials as our adult courses. They are taught by experienced artist tutors and start to take their first steps as Young Artists.
