Drive

Most popular towns and villages in Cornwall do offer paid for parking, however we would recommend checking in advance of travelling. Also use Google Maps or a route finder to asses the type of roads that you’ll be travelling on – you can be taken on some pretty tight lanes, with very high hedgerows!

Bus

Not only is St Ives well connected by buses to and from Truro, Penzance, Hayle and Pendeen, it also on the Lands End Coaster route. An open top sightseeing bus which travels right around West Cornwall. En route, you will see iconic landmarks such as Zennor, Lands End, the Minnack Theatre and St Michaels Mount.

Train

The St Ives Bay railway line has been voted as one of the most scenic railway journeys in the UK. You can hop on at St Erth which has a huge car park suitable to 500+ cars and travel along the line via Lelant and Carbis Bay. From St Erth, you can also travel to Penzance and Truro. The main Penzance line then goes onto London.

Cycling

Travelling by bike in Cornwall is the perfect way to see the sights, experience the views and get some exercise in whilst on holiday. Although you will come up against a few hills on cycle; there are various e-bike providers which you can hire from which are perfect if you need that extra bit of assistance in getting from A to B.
